The actor Elden Henson, who brought Matt Murdock’s best friend to life, revealed that he is satisfied with Foggy Nelson’s outcome in the premiere of *Daredevil: Reborn*. In an interview at C2E2 2026, Henson explained that, upon reading the script, he recognized the strength of the story and the importance of closing the character’s arc. “It was a shame to see the end, but I feel very lucky to have played Foggy and to have had the chance to give him a dignified conclusion”, he said.
Despite Marvel Studios’ decision to sacrifice Foggy in the early scenes of the first season, the production ensured that the lawyer will return in flashbacks in the second season, keeping the character’s memory alive. Initially, there were plans to resurrect him, but the narrative ultimately took a different direction.
In the current season, Matt Murdock is assembling a team to confront the Anti‑Vigilante Task Force, led by Wilson Fisk, now the mayor of New York. Episodes are released weekly on Disney+ on Tuesdays, Brasília time. The third season is already in production and is slated to hit screens in March 2027.
