On Monday (the 6th), Marvel released the new trailer for the second season of *Daredevil: Resurrected*. The video offers a clue that quickly set the internet ablaze: the character Jessica Jones, played by Krysten Ritter, appears to be pregnant or already has a daughter. Although the child does not appear on screen and her name is not revealed, the mere mention has already fueled numerous theories among fans. Some believe the little one could be Danielle Cage, Luke Cage’s daughter in the comics, especially after Mike Colter’s return to the role of Luke Cage in the filming of the third season, where he interacts with Ritter again.
So far, Marvel has not officially confirmed the daughter’s identity, but the possibility of a new family dynamic for Jessica promises to change how the character will be approached in upcoming stories. In addition to this development, the second season brings back veterans such as Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson) and introduces Matthew Lillard as the ruthless politician Charles, a direct rival of Mayor Wilson Fisk.
