Andy Serkis will take on the role of Alfred, splitting his time between the Bat universe and directing “The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum”. The main cast receives new additions: Scarlett Johansson joins as a mysterious antagonist, while Sebastian Stan plays Harvey Dent. Viggo Mortensen is in advanced negotiations to portray Christopher Dent, a role previously turned down by names such as Robert De Niro and Daniel Craig.

In addition to the casting changes, the film will feature new costumes for Robert Pattinson (Bruce Wayne), Jeffrey Wright (Commissioner Gordon) and Colin Farrell (Penguin), who return to the universe. On the other hand, Zoë Kravitz (Catwoman) is not expected to appear in the sequel.

The release is scheduled for September 30, 2027, keeping the anticipation alive for another chapter of Gotham’s dark saga.
