James Marsden and Olivia Munn comment on the second season of “Your Friends and Neighbors”

The Jon Hamm‑starring award‑winning series, known as “Your Friends and Neighbors”, has arrived at its second season on Apple TV, bringing new additions to the cast and storyline. Actor James Marsden, who plays Owen Ashe – the new neighbor who challenges protagonist Coop (Jon Hamm) – shared his first impressions of the role. “I felt like part of the family from day one. I’ve known Olivia since school in Oklahoma, where she was a friend of my sister. Our reunion was unexpected, but the energy we brought to the set was amazing,” Marsden revealed. He also highlighted the production’s hospitality: “Everyone was very kind, the environment was welcoming and the character allowed me to explore a more extravagant and fun side.”

Olivia Munn, who remains in the cast, also spoke about the story’s evolution, which takes on a darker tone and reveals the residents of Westmont Village’s hidden secrets. The plot follows Andrew “Coop” Cooper, a fund manager who, after being fired amid a scandal, begins to break into the homes of wealthy neighbors, uncovering even more dangerous secrets. Created by Jonathan Tropper, who serves as showrunner and executive producer, the series also features Hoon Lee, Mark Tallman, Lena Hall, Aimee Carrero, Eunice Bae, Isabel Marie Gravitt and Donovan Colan, while Jon Hamm also signs on as an executive producer. The second season promises to deepen the drama and set the stage for a possible third season, already confirmed by the producers.
