Jumanji 4’s Brazilian Release Delayed to January 2027

Sony Pictures decided to postpone the national release of *Jumanji 4* relative to the United States schedule. While the film reaches American theaters at Christmas, on December 25, 2026, Brazilian audiences will have to wait until January 7, 2027, a two‑week delay. This change makes sense, since the year‑end period in the U.S. is saturated with heavyweight releases such as *Dune: Part 3* and *Avengers: Doctor Destiny*, in addition to the premiere of the Harry Potter series on HBO Max. In Brazil, the exhibition circuit is smaller, which justifies the date repositioning. The date could still be revised, but for now, Jumanji 4 will not reach Brazilian cinemas in 2026. The film marks the farewell of Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan from the franchise, and also features Danny DeVito, Lamorne Morris and Nick Jonas.
