The actor Jessie T. Usher, who portrays Bullet in *The Boys*, revealed that the production of the fifth season brought a feeling of novelty and, at the same time, displacement. According to him, although he continues wearing the same superhero uniform, the behind‑the‑scenes, the atmosphere and the interactions have changed drastically. “It’s as if I’m playing the same character, but within a different universe – the sets are new, the conversations are different and the way Bullet relates to the other characters has evolved in a way I had never explored before,” Usher explained.
He described the experience as “a strange off‑shoot”, highlighting that the hero left the Seven to join the Guys, but that the dynamics of the new group do not resemble anything he has seen in the first four seasons. This shift in tone and structure seems to reflect the direction the series is taking in its new phase, with episodes released on Wednesdays at 4 a.m. (Brasília time) on Prime Video.
