The CBS network has received the green light for the pilot of the new supernatural comedy titled ‘Eternally Yours’, as reported by Deadline. Although a premiere date has not yet been set, the series is expected to hit the screens in the second half of this year. The storyline follows Liz (Allegra Edwards) and Charles (Ed Weeks), a vampire couple who have been alive for more than five centuries, and who feel uneasy about the relationship between their human son Max (Jaren Lewison) and their daughter Emma (Helen J Shen).
The cast also includes Parker Young, known for ‘The United States of Al’, Rose Abdoo from ‘Hacks’, Tristan Michael Brown from ‘Pretty Freakin’ Scary’, and Shylo Molina from ‘The Afterparty’. Creators Joe Port and Joe Wiseman — responsible for the American remake of ‘Ghosts’ — penned the pilot episode script and serve as executive producers alongside Eric Tannenbaum, Kim Tannenbaum, and Jason Wang. It is worth noting that ‘Ghosts’ became one of CBS’s most acclaimed comedies, following the story of a couple who inherit a haunted house. The first three seasons of the series are already available on Netflix’s Brazilian catalog.
