At the 2026 edition of CinemaCon, Warner Bros. officially revealed the release date of the next sequel in the slasher series, “Premonition 7”. The film will hit theaters on May 12, 2028. While the plot remains under wraps, rumors have emerged that part of the production may be filmed in Brazil, fueled by recent statements from a franchise producer.
The saga’s direction changes: Zach Lipovsky and Adam B. Stein are replaced by Belgian filmmaker Michiel Blanchart, known for the acclaimed horror “Night Call” (2024). The screenplay remains in the hands of Lori Evans Taylor, who co‑wrote “Premonition: Blood Ties” and ensures the series’ dark atmosphere continues.
Since its debut in 2000, the franchise has established itself as an icon of contemporary horror, combining creative deaths with the relentless premise that no one escapes Death for long.
