A recent survey conducted in Japan brought to light the debate that divides Jujutsu Kaisen fans: who truly holds the title of the most powerful character? The study analyzed 115 characters from the series and placed Ryomen Sukuna at the top with 95 points, leaving Satoru Gojo in second place with 94.5 points—a minimal difference that demonstrates the balance between the two central protagonists.
In third place was Yuta Okkotsu, accumulating 85 points, far behind the duo that dominates the top. The result reinforces the idea that Sukuna and Gojo occupy an exclusive tier within the universe created by Gege Akutami. Meanwhile, the protagonist Yuji Itadori appeared only in the 17th position with 71.1 points, surprising part of the community after the latest events of the manga.
The Jujutsu Kaisen storyline continues to follow Yuji, a young man of extraordinary physical strength who becomes involved in the world of sorcery after crossing paths with Megumi Fushiguro, Gojo, and Sukuna himself. By consuming one of Sukuna’s cursed fingers to postpone his execution, Yuji begins to seek the remaining fragments of the spirit, facing increasingly intense battles that threaten the balance of the jujutsu world.
