The Starz channel released the first teaser for the second season of *Outlander: Blood of My Blood*, the series that expands the franchise universe. The production returns to the North American autumn, with a premiere slated between September and December 2026, adding new layers to the saga of Jamie Fraser and Claire Beauchamp’s parents.
The storyline, which functions as a prequel, alternates between two distinct timelines. On one side, it follows the forbidden romance between Ellen MacKenzie and Brian Fraser, the future parents of Jamie, set in 18th‑century Scotland. On the other, it follows the youth of Julia Moriston and Henry Beauchamp, the future parents of Claire, who experience their own tensions at the beginning of the 20th century.
The new season promises to be “much more epic”, according to the actors, as it delves into themes such as destiny, sacrifice, tradition and passion. The couples will face new challenges, be separated by external forces and see clans choose sides in a rebellion that threatens to reshape their relationships.
With these episodes, the series builds the foundations that will lead to Jamie’s birth and Claire’s future journey, setting the stage for the events of the original series. The first season is already available on Disney+.
