Distributor A24 released the official poster for “The Invite”, the new version of the acclaimed Spanish dramedy “Sentimental”. The first trailer will be available tomorrow, April 7, and the film arrives in United States theaters on June 26.
Directed by Olivia Wilde, known for “Don’t Worry, Dear”, the film also features Wilde alongside Seth Rogen, Penélope Cruz and Edward Norton. The screenplay was written by Rashida Jones and Will McCormack.
The story follows a couple, played by Wilde and Rogen, whose relationship is on the brink of collapse. In an unexpected turn, they host a dinner for the mysterious neighbors, portrayed by Norton and Cruz, whose relationship seems to have the passion and communication missing from the main couple.
“The Invite” had its world premiere at the Toronto Festival 2026, receiving praise from critics and achieving a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. The full trailer will be released tomorrow, promising more details about the comedic suspense that unfolds among the guests.
