    gamescom LATAM 2026 announced the games chosen for two BIG Festival initiatives focused on the indie universe. BIG Starter gathers 12 Brazilian titles, selected by the festival’s curators, which can be tested in an exclusive space during the event, allowing studios to showcase their projects to press, publishers and partners. The games include *Adventure of Samsara*, *AFANTASIA*, *ARTIUS: Pure Imagination*, *Climb Out of Hell*, *Dreamcards*, *Fourleaf Fields*, *Lia Hacking Destiny*, *Lyara Magical Blush*, *Quacolé Tennis*, *Save the Bloogs*, *Shadow Sacrament: The Roots of Evil* and *Gogo Games*.

    BIG Highlight, on the other hand, is an online international showcase that brings 16 independent games from 13 countries, available for testing on Steam. The list includes productions from Latin America, such as *Dimraeth* (USA) and *Dreamhealer* (Chile), as well as titles from regions such as Italy, Belgium, Russia, Indonesia, Japan and China.

    In addition to the showcases, gamescom LATAM launched its official e‑commerce store, integrated into the event’s website in partnership with Hype (Level Up). The platform offers digital games, credits, coupons, subscriptions and special bundles with exclusive cumulative discounts for ticket holders. Gustavo Steinberg, CEO of gamescom LATAM, highlighted that the store aims to provide a complete experience to the audience, delivering value throughout the year.

    Tickets for the 2026 edition, which will take place from April 30 to May 3 at the Anhembi District, are already on sale in various formats, including daily passes, 4‑day passes and the Deluxe Pass. The event will feature major industry names such as Roblox, Remedy Entertainment, Riot Games, EA and Big Uncle Games, as well as panels with David Wise, Brendan Greene and actor Maxence Cazorla.

    gamescom LATAM continues to be a meeting point for developers, publishers and fans, offering networking, game presentations and business opportunities backed by institutions such as the Federal Cultural Incentive Law, Claro, APAA, Abragames, Seara and Cruzeiro do Sul College.
