After months of speculation, the second season of Marvel Zombies was officially confirmed by the head of TV and streaming for the MCU, Brad Winderbaum. In his appearance on The Escape Podcast, Winderbaum revealed that production of the new episodes is already underway. He commented that he had seen the first storyboard for the season premiere, describing it as “a madness” and promising new elements that go beyond traditional zombies, bringing something never seen before in the Marvel universe. Although there is still no release date, expectations point to 2027. This renewal is part of Marvel Studios’ new strategy to bet on multi‑season series, instead of miniseries like “Magneto” and “Daredevil: Born Again”. Set in an alternate universe to Earth‑616, Marvel Zombies presents a post‑apocalyptic setting where heroes and villains have been infected by a zombie virus. The first season premiered in 2025 on Disney+ and remains available on the platform.
