In the manuscripts, the name used was Freida McFadden, but in an interview with USA Today the author stated that her real name is Sara Cohen. “I have reached a point in my career where I am tired of keeping this a secret. In addition to writing psychological thrillers, Sara Cohen works as a neurosurgeon.
