Netflix released today (9) the official trailer of the continuation of the Danish series ‘The Chestnut Man’, now titled ‘Hide and Seek’. The new season will arrive on the platform on May 7, bringing back detectives Mark Hess (Mark Hess) and Naia Thulin (Naia Thulin) to investigate an even more disturbing case.
The plot revolves around a 41‑year‑old woman who disappears without a trace. When the police start analyzing her digital data, they discover that she had been stalked for months by an unknown person who sent images, videos and even a repetitive counting children’s song, as if it were a game of hide‑and‑seek. The outcome is tragic: the woman is found dead, and the crime appears to be linked to an unsolved murder of a 17‑year‑old student that occurred two years earlier. What is the connection between the two victims?
In addition to Mark and Naia, the cast includes Danica Curcic, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Sofie Gråbøl and Katinka Lærke Petersen. The series, based on Søren Sveistrup’s bestseller, was created by Dorte W. Høgh and Emilie Lebech Kaae.
Get ready for another macabre game of hide‑and‑seek, where the next move could be fatal.
