The actor will team up with Vanessa Kirby, known for ‘Fantastic Four: First Steps’, and Yahya Abdul‑Mateen II, from the series ‘Magnum’.
The series is based on the graphic novel ‘Telepaths’, created by the award‑winning J. Michael Straczynski, with illustrations by Steve Epting and Brian Reber. In the original work, an electromagnetic event causes 10% of the population to develop telepathic abilities, creating a scenario where Boston police officers, now endowed with these powers, must confront a faction led by an unjustly convicted prisoner who seeks to escape a world that sees him as a target.
Direction will be handled by Louis Leterrier, known for ‘Fast & Furious 10’, while the script is in the hands of Justin Rhodes, author of ‘Terminator: Dark Fate’. The production includes Zach Studin for AWA Studios, Kevin Walsh of The Walsh Company, and Ray Angelic as executive producer, alongside the creators of the original story.
