The actress who gave life to the mutant Jubilee in *X‑Men: Apocalypse* (2016) reaffirmed her intense desire to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In an interview with Parade, Lana Condor revealed that, since the character’s debut, she has maintained an active stance behind the scenes, trying to secure her return to the big screen. “I’m on this crusade trying to get them to bring me back since *X‑Men: Apocalypse* was released,” she said.
When recalling her first experience on the Fox set, Condor described the feeling of innocence and discovery: “It was my first real character, I was very young, I didn’t know anything. Every minute on set felt like a dream.” She also lamented that Jubilee didn’t receive the development she deserved, pointing out that the comics offer countless possibilities for a new version under Disney/Marvel’s stewardship.
Marvel Studios is preparing a major X‑Men reboot after the events of *Avengers: Secret Wars*, slated for 2027. In the meantime, the mutants are expected to appear in *Avengers: Doctor Destiny*, where villain Victor Von Doom (Robert Downey Jr.) promises to unleash a multiversal crisis. The film premieres in Brazil on December 17, 2026 and features a star‑studded cast that includes Tom Hiddleston, Anthony Mackie, Letitia Wright, Simu Liu, among others. Although Lana Condor’s participation has not yet been confirmed, the hope of seeing her alongside the most powerful heroes remains alive.
If everything unfolds as fans wish, Jubilee may finally have the chance to shine again, contributing to the new era of the X‑Men in the MCU.
