During CinemaCon 2026, the first official trailer for the sequel to ‘From Magic to Seduction’ was shown, bringing back the protagonists Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman. The video recreates the iconic residence from the first film, with lush cinematography that captures the magical atmosphere of the original story.
In the teaser, Bullock reprises the role of Sally Owens, now single, while Kidman returns as Gillian Owens, both ready to face a new curse that plagues the family. The plot, based on Alice Hoffman’s novel ‘The Book of Magic’, will follow three generations of Owens who must use their powers to break a deadly spell that threatens the life of Aunt Jet, who has only seven days left.
Producer Denise Di Novi assured that the sequel will stay faithful to the book, without unnecessary inventions, and that the screenplay is in the hands of Akiva Goldsman, writer of the original 1998 film. Filming is slated for 2025, although a definitive start date has not yet been set. The release is scheduled for September 11, promising to delight fans of the witch saga.
