At the latest edition of CinemaCon, actor Jason Statham appeared in an exclusive video to present the first footage of *Beekeeper 2*, the sequel to the action thriller released in 2024. Wearing an apron, Statham served honey to the audience before unveiling the new plot, where his character, Adam Clay, faces a clandestine faction called the Beekeepers that has begun operating outside any official control and even kidnapped the President of the United States.
The former CIA director, portrayed by Jeremy Irons, appears as Wallace Westwyld and informs Clay that only he can prevent the collapse. The sequel promises explosions, machine guns, flamethrowers, and even swarms of bees used as weapons, guaranteeing high‑octane action. The film is directed by Timo Tjahjanto, who replaces David Ayer, and the cast includes names such as Yara Shahidi, Emmy Raver‑Lampman, Bobby Naderi, Jemma Redgrave, Pom Klementieff, and Adam Copeland. The movie is slated to hit theaters on January 15, 2027, while the first title is already available on Prime Video.
