According to Michael Thorn, president of Fox Television Network, the production delivers a sharp thriller, driven by the intense performances of Dempsey and Michael Imperioli. “The combination of solid writing and striking acting made the series stand out, and we are excited to continue this story in the new season,” he said. Details about the second phase’s storyline have not yet been revealed, but fan anticipation is already high.

In Brazil, the episodes can be watched via HBO Max. The series is inspired by the Belgian film ‘De Zaak Alzheimer’ (2003), which also spawned the Hollywood remake ‘Assassin Without a Trace’. The story follows Angelo Ledda (Dempsey), a hitman who leads a double life as a photocopier salesman and family man. When diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, his world collapses as his wife’s death proves suspicious and his pregnant daughter becomes the target of threats. Angelo then must revisit old cases to protect his family, featuring a cast that includes Michael Imperioli, Richard Harmon, Odeya Rush and Michaela McManus.
