The Country Music Academy announced this Thursday (the 9th) the names that will compete in the 61st edition of the ACM Awards, which will be broadcast live on Prime Video on May 17 at 9 p.m. (Brasília time), reaching more than 240 countries.
The categories feature a strong female presence: Megan Moroney leads with nine nominations, followed by Miranda Lambert with eight, and Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson tied with seven each. On the male side, Chris Stapleton arrives with six nominations, including his fifth consecutive nomination for Artist of the Year and his 11th straight nomination as Male Artist of the Year. Zach Top, Cody Johnson and Riley Green also appear among the most nominated, with four to five names across the different categories.
In addition to the nominations, the ceremony promises heavyweight performances, such as Cody Johnson, Kacey Musgraves, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert and Riley Green, with new collaborations to be announced in the coming weeks.
