HBO Max Brazil released the dubbed trailer of the new dramatic suspense series “Half Man” (Half Man), created and starring Richard Gadd, known for the hit “Baby Rena”. The production premieres on April 23 and follows, over four decades (from the 1980s to the present day), the tumultuous journey of brothers Niall and Ruben, whose reunion on Niall’s wedding day triggers a violent confrontation that reverberates throughout their lives.
The narrative delves into the stages of the brotherly relationship, from adolescence to adult estrangement, also reflecting the transformations of the city and the world around them. The cast brings together names such as Jamie Bell, Stuart Campbell, Mitchell Robertson, Neve McIntosh, Marianne McIvor, Charlie De Melo, Bilal Hasna, Julie Cullen, Amy Manson, Philippine Velge, Stuart McQuarrie, Piers Ewart, Scot Greenan, Charlotte Blackwood and Calum Manchip.
In addition to writing, directing and acting, Gadd takes on executive production alongside Tally Garner and Morven Reid, with direction by Alexandra Brodski and Eshref Reybrouck. The series promises to combine psychological tension with a vivid portrait of cultural changes, offering the audience an intense and immersive experience.
