Netflix released today (9) the official trailer for the continuation of the Danish series ‘The Chestnut Man’, now titled ‘Hide and Seek’. The new season will arrive on the platform on May 7, bringing back detectives Mark Hess (Mark Hess) and Naia Thulin (Naia Thulin) to investigate an even more disturbing case.
The plot revolves around a 41‑year‑old woman who disappears without a trace. When police begin to examine her digital data, they discover she had been stalked for months by an unknown person who sent images, videos, and even a repetitive counting children’s song, as if it were a game of hide‑and‑seek. The outcome is tragic: the woman is found dead, and the crime appears to be linked to an unsolved murder of a 17‑year‑old student that occurred two years earlier. What is the connection between the two victims?
In addition to Mark and Naia, the cast includes Danica Curcic, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, Sofie Gråbøl and Katinka Lærke Petersen. The series, based on Søren Sveistrup’s bestseller, was created by Dorte W. Høgh and Emilie Lebech Kaae.
Prepare yourself for another macabre game of hide‑and‑seek, where the next move could be fatal.
