During Warner Bros.’ session at CinemaCon, held on Tuesday, April 14, the acclaimed director Sean Baker announced his next film project: “Ti Amo!”. The film, slated to reach theaters in 2027, will be distributed by Warner as the first official title of Clockwork, a newly created label to support independent productions. Baker assumes all creative duties — writing, directing, editing, casting and producing — and will reunite the “Anora” team, including producers Alex Coco and Samantha Quan. Christian Parkes, head of Clockwork and former Neon executive, highlighted Baker’s selection: “He embodies everything Clockwork represents, and ‘Ti Amo!’ will be a gift to cinema, besides delivering an incredible poster visual”. The announcement comes shortly after “Anora” won four Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Director, cementing Baker as one of the most influential talents of the seventh art. “Ti Amo!” marks the next step in the director’s career, promising to bring again an innovative narrative and striking visuals to a global audience.
