In an interview granted to journalist Jasmine Valentine, actor Theo James revealed that filming of the second season of *Crime Tycoons* has already been completed. According to him, the new phase of the series will adopt a darker and more intense atmosphere, without losing the humor that characterizes the production. “We finished filming and now we are in the editing phase. We will still make some adjustments, but the premiere is scheduled for the end of the year,” James said. He added that the plot “remains fun, but takes on a darker and wilder tone”.
The series, created by Guy Ritchie, takes place in the same universe as the eponymous film released in 2019, and the director will return to helm the upcoming episodes, collaborating on the script with Matthew Read. The protagonists Theo James and Kaya Scodelario remain in the roles of Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass, respectively. The premiere is scheduled to occur between September and December on Netflix’s catalog.
