Last Wednesday (the 15th), Amazon MGM Studios brought to the CinemaCon stage a first glimpse of the Masters of the Universe reboot, presenting an exclusive teaser. Nicholas Galitzine and Camila Mendes took part in the panel, where the unreleased sequence was shown only to those in attendance.
The preview opens on Earth, with Adam (Galitzine) sitting in the back seat of a police vehicle. The officers mock the legendary Power Sword he carries, even comparing him to a “Highlander”. Suddenly, Beast‑Man leaps out of a nearby truck, forcing Adam to abandon the car and confront the creature, but without success. When the villain is about to deliver a fatal blow, Teela (Mendes) intervenes, promising to take Adam back home.
Next, the trailer shows an Eternia reshaped by the darkness of Skeletor, played by Jared Leto. Adam meets his mentor (Idris Elba) and other allies, who remind him that he must not forget who they are. The climax arrives when Adam wields the Power Sword, transforms into He‑Man and declares, “I have the strength!” From there, intense action sequences follow: He‑Man battles Skeletor’s armies, leaps between vehicles, and ultimately faces Skeletor himself in a decisive duel.
The full cast also includes Morena Baccarin as the Sorceress, Alison Brie as the villainous Maligna, James Purefoy as King Randor, and Charlotte Ridley as Queen Marlena. Directed by Travis Knight, known for *Bumblebee*, the film is slated to reach Brazilian cinemas on June 4.
